First release
First release of MSKeyHole, the Windows edition of KeyHole.
- Encrypted vault unlocked by YubiKey or any FIDO2 security key (hmac-secret extension, through WebAuthn), by Windows Hello or by master password; methods can be combined.
- Automatic locking (inactivity, Windows session lock, sleep) and protected clipboard: a copied password is excluded from history and sync, and cleared after 30 seconds.
- Built-in AI of your choice: Anthropic (Claude models), OpenAI (GPT models) or Mistral AI, with your own API key stored in the vault and a live model list; or control from an MCP client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code) paired with a revocable token.
- AI control: entrusted tabs only, three levels (read-only, confirm each action, autonomous), confirmation of destructive commands, action log; passwords never shown to the AI.
- Built-in tabbed RDP remote desktop: RD Gateway, redirections, sound, Windows shortcuts, full screen.
- SSH: terminal, side-by-side SFTP, port forwarding (-L, -R, -D), jump host / bastion, SSH agent for ssh.exe, git and VS Code.
- Local terminal: PowerShell, Command Prompt, WSL.
- Detachable sessions in their own window, MP4 video recording of sessions.
- Credentials shared between hosts, password generator, folders and sub-folders.
- Imports: Royal TS (.rtsz, with passwords and gateways), RDCMan, mRemoteNG, CSV, PuTTY, ~/.ssh/config.
